  Pharmacologic action: pharmacodynamics   Tilmicosin belongs to animal dedicated semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic. Its antibacterial action is similar to tylosin. Sensitive Gram-positive bacteria consist of staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Bacillus erysipelatos-suis, Listeria monocytogenes, clostridium septicum, Clostridium chauvoei and so on. Sensitive Gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus, Neisseria meningitidis, Pasteurella, etc., which are also effective against Mycoplasma. Its activity against actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and livestock mycoplasma is stronger than against tylosin. 95% of hemolytic strains of Pasteurella are sensitive to this product. Pharmacokinetics orally this product can be absorbed quickly if taken orally, and is characterized by strong tissue penetration and large volume of distribution (> 2L / kg). Its concentration in the lung is high, half-life is up to 1 to 2 days, and effective blood concentration can be maintained for a long time.
  Drug interactions: (1) This product can increase the pig's death when used together with epinephrine. (2) Since its target is same with other macrolides and lincosamide, they should not be used simultaneously. (3) The combined use of this product with β- lactams shows antagonism.
  Indication: it’s used for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease and fowl cholera of chicken.
  Usage and Dosage:Mixing with water: in every 1L water, chicken 0.75ml. To be used for 3 days
